I don't know that Home Assistant voice assist is ever going to be ready for prime time.
Played with the AtomM5 and ESP32 S3 for a few months, got my Voice Preview. This same command "turn on string lights" works 99.9% of the time on both Google and Amazon. I think I may get 20% success with HA...

Looks like some vendors are pre-tariffing already. This from a company, DigiKey, I've bought from for years. Found the item elsewhere for the same price, sans addon.
I do think vendors should add this line to every purchase to call it out come January.
