This is a nice surprise in my inbox. This was the weekend with 4 contests involving umpteen states. Sending certificates electronically makes a lot of sense to lower costs and reduce volunteer workload. Thanks, Hoosiers.

18 y/o grandson & school dramatics partner won 1st in region humorous duo competition & go on to all-state to try to repeat last year’s win. Talented actors with flair for goofball comedy. My kid is the one with eyeglasses. Both going to university in theatre next year.

No alcohol during last years of husband’s life because I had to be able 24/7 to think clearly & drive legally in case of medical emergency. He’d be thrilled to know grandson’s accepted into 1st choice university & its competitive theatre major program. Sipping a celebratory sherry.

When I let Ditzy Dog outside at 7:30 this morning to do what a dog’s gotta do the temperature here on Brush Mountain was 19 F / -7 C. I bet she was thinking the doggy equivalent of those words we mustn’t say on the ham bands. Happier now.
