Milk Diary is available to download on the App Store!

So excited it’s live & I hope it helps new parents more easily manage their baby feeding journey.

This is just the beginning, I look forward to getting feedback from parents & to be able to iterate on the app with them. 💖

Even though @kayathomas.is is an expert in notifications she used AlarmKit in her latest app Milk Dairy. It's been 5 years since she talked about Notifications on the show and it's interesting here why she's using AlarmKit instead.

After half a decade, @kayathomas.is came back to tell me about her new motherhood-inspired app Milk Diary. She talks about using new APIs like Foundation Models, SpeechAnalyzer, and AlarmKit to handle the complex stuff other feeding apps miss.

I’m excited to have @kayathomas.is back on to talk about her new app! Have a question about Liquid Glass, Foundation Models, or something else? Let us know.
Since early this year I’ve been working on creating an app I wish I had during my daughter’s first year. So excited to now announce Milk Diary (@milkdiary.app), launching this fall with iOS 26!

Next time anyone asks me how I feel about A.I. I'm just going to send them @tressiemcphd.bsky.social's article. So spot on.

I really worry where we're headed if folks believe that human expertise is no longer needed. The real pursuit of knowledge is always worth it.

For years folks would ask me if I was going to make more apps or what my next idea was after We Read Too and most times my answer was 🤷🏽‍♀️ In order for me to pursue an idea I need to feel strongly that *I* am uniquely positioned to build it with purpose. Well, now I have that feeling again!

hi 👋🏽 I’ve been generally offline for the last few years, but I’m feeling ready to reengage & reconnect with my online friends! I might be nostalgic for the earlier days of social media, but I’m hoping this can be a place of mutual learning and interesting convos 🤓
