3 years ago today, Riot Games offered me a job making more money than I ever thought I’d make in my life. I had 19 interviews over 2.5 months to get it. Partner and I were moving to LA for it. I put in notice at my job and apartment.

Recently loaded up my old Dark Souls 2 save from late 2010s and wrapped up bosses I had left unfinished. Replayed DS3 and killed every boss including two from Ringed City DLC that I never did the first playthrough.
With those scraps finally finished I've wrapped up all from soft souls bosses.

Idealistically, difficulty modes are a private choice that exists between ourselves and the video game. In reality, unless you choose to never stream, record, play multiplayer, or discuss games with other gamers, difficulty in games is actually a phenomenon we experience socially.
Difficulty is Social - Why would gamers quit instead of lowering the difficulty in a soulslike?

Any handheld PC that does not have touch pads like the Steam Deck has, is not a feature-complete handheld PC and is basically a complete non-starter.
I wish the people writing reviews and comparison articles understood this, but they just keep failing on the matter over and over...

As a tank, be aware that in M8S, the cube/orb can turn around during Tactical Pack and touch you, wiping your party. The other tank can prevent this. Explanation in replies. #FFXIV

Week 2 in "PF" - It still counts as PF if it's reforming last Monday's group that I joined through PF, right? Thanks to everyone in the party list and everyone else I progged with in PF along the way. The Monday pre-reset push was epic, but I'm happy and relieved either way.

"I'm happy if we just clear on patch, even if it takes the whole patch" is something I don't want to say ever again. I want to push ulti prog faster. The anxiety of an uncleared fight is too much.
Going off-role was hard as hell but I'm SURE I improved from it. Back to tank now.

I'm so happy with how the chaotic alliance raid turned out. Some large arena range things are a little weird but for a content category I think we can just live with that to be honest, it's not like there's a tight enrage on this thing and it's not like there should be.
