this is running on a sechondhand prodesk 600 G4 I pulled in last year.

I am using Resend, it's SMTP setup allows me to have a DNS record on my PDS domain so every email looks like it's from my PDS. I only use it for PDS so far and haven't run into any problem.

this is just my 2 cents but, running on a homelab environment with truenas in proxmox allows me to back up, restore truenas' setting very, very quickly and also allows me to share CPU/ram resource with other work load that doesn't work under truenas' container and vm solution.

I am doing mix of both for now. but my goal is run everything inside kubernetes.

I brought this one used online, has 8th gen intel in it.

for anyone curious, this tiny beast is running Porxmox, with:
- Ubuntu Server VM (My PDS)
- 3x AlmaLinux VM for K3s cluster with MetalLB and Longhorn
- AlmaLinux VM for my Docker stuff (jellyfin, Immich etc...)
- 1 LXC for tailscale
