"Those who begin coercive elimination of dissent soon find themselves exterminating dissenters. Compulsory unification of opinion achieves only the unanimity of the graveyard." Justice Robert H. Jackson, West Virginia v. Barnette (1943)

Free speech is a safeguard—once it’s gone, tyranny follows.

They’ve made it abundantly clear that they stand against democracy, equality, and even the core principles of true conservatism. What they follow isn’t a political ideology—it’s a cult, plain and simple.

Trump is a liar & an ass. #Ukraine

"Trump has falsely claimed that Ukraine started the war, has refused to acknowledge Russia's invasion of the country, and has disparaged Zelensky as a "dictator" while refusing to call Putin one..."

I’m old enough to remember when Obama signed just 9 executive orders in his first 2 wks, & people screamed that he was acting like a king. Now, Trump has cranked out over 40—many of them blatantly unconstitutional—& the same people are cheering it on. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Canada already had 8,500 border agents & had announced new border security plans on Dec 5, 2024—BEFORE Trump’s tariff threats. Now, they let him think he “forced” them to act, dodged economic pain, & kept their dignity intact.

Trump got played & doesn’t even realize it.

#Netflix is going to raise the prices again? Trump killed Net Neutrality, claiming it'd boost competition, lower costs. Instead, ISPs got free rein to throttle, cap, overcharge & streaming prices skyrocketed. Now MAGA who cheered its repeal are mad about exactly what they were warned would happen.

Massive red flag. Trump wants to control the narrative by replacing accountability w/ propaganda. Next? Banning media from WH? Arresting journalists? We're losing democracy, watching rights erode—press freedom, women&LGBTQ+ rights. Soon, media will be controlled, elections rigged, dissent punished.

Not the least bit surprising, Trump never misses an opportunity to exploit tragedy for his own gain. I knew he'd spin it to push his narrative. He's the epitome of evil.

If Trump had followed WHO instead of blaming them, USA wouldn't have had the 2nd-highest COVID death rate/million & wouldn't have had to shut down the economy. SK used the WHO's testing recipe, maintained 1 of the lowest death rates, their economy intact. The problem was Trump, not the WHO.

do you enjoy knowing that when you deposit money in a US bank, you won't lose that money? nice, right?

it's because bank deposits are insured by FDIC.

i don't know what FDIC ever did to these people, but apparently it too is now on their blow-it-up list:
