the problem is that shitty people keep thinking the cataclysmic social divide happening right now is between educated/uneducated or pastoral/cosmopolitan when in fact it is between cruel/kind, abuser/decent - and being surprised by which side of that line they fall on

This is the intended Kav P experience

(Related to my next video about the CREEP franchise, incidentally!)

Thanks for the extra suggestions! And yeah, I think between you and Violet, I'm going to have to give this Cobra Kai thing a go

I'll see you on the other side 🫡

I know, right??

Although to be fair, they weren't too keen on the gargoyle balls either

Oh my goodness, wtfffff

You've described this show so well that now I'm worried that if I watch it it will never live up to the perfection

To an extent, although I think his audience liked him a lot! I'm sort of more going for characters where for whatever reason you understand they're unlikeable from the beginning 😄

These are fantastic examples! I forgot about Venture Bros. I think I need to rewatch it to get a read on the show again, it's been so long. But I think that might definitely be a good call.

I've often been conflicted by It's Always Sunny - I feel like the characters are too likeable somehow...?

Basically I want to show examples of people making characters who are awful people, where there is no ambiguity about whether you're meant to want to be that person or not

It's a question of satire, I suppose, and I do think that it's a difficult balance to achieve, so I want to celebrate successes

Yes, it's really annoying. Going viral is no longer about being interesting or even good

Instead we just get piss-poor EVERYthing, but lots of it, and all the same

Yes, the looped version doesn't allow for awkward silences to really linger for that final piece of poultry perfection
November 6, 2025 at 12:10 PM
I would say the former, honestly. Since I started creating content (from artwork to videos) the algorithmic models and the way that platforms have taken over has really made it difficult for creators to create on their own terms (as well as make money on their own terms). I wish we could go back!

I mean, that's true, of course, but I've been making video content for longer than most of them (try 2004!), and I actually had more organic success and visibility with the weird, sporadic content I produced back then, even without promotion!

The cultural landscape has enshittified 😱
