My folks were Catholic but my Dad, though he went to church every Sunday, would never take Communion until very much later in life (fear?). I didn't ever find out why, but I had my suspicions. Out of 4 kids, 2 are agnostic but follow some Jewish traditions and 2 are atheist. Religion is poison.

So do we! We hadn't even had so much as a cold since 2019, and that hit like a ton of bricks. At least it wasn't COVID.

Oh great. Last year's wasn't very good either. Both of us vaxxed; he had it for a week and I had it for a MONTH. Masking up for sure!

Aw, poor dog! You'd be better off chucking the neighbors and adopting the dog. At least you could train that! I get it though. I have neighbors (not as close as that) whose dogs bark almost all day long. I feel so badly for them. We had terriers for 30 years and never had a complaint.

Wise choice. The only Aussie beer I even know about is Foster's and it's *nasty*, and they sell it in huge cans here.

I read these books over and over again as a kid - the entire series. It got to the point that the librarian tried to interest me in other types of books, I checked them out so many times! 😆
