i joined dsa. if that's not your cup of tea, there's a ton of other local orgs almost everywhere in the country trying to make small differences that would *love* to have you. you're not alone in feeling this! organizing with other people feeling this way is the biggest way to fight it

i was feeling this way too. i started organizing locally with all the energy i was spending on despair. It's local issues that are easy to move the needle on. it doesn't solve the national level "everything sucks" about it all, but it does help to see the difference you make on a small scale.
