A cat-loving lesbian knitter and gardener with a PhD. A walking stereotype. Except I'm not.

Huge Maintenance Phase fan and patron here. This recognition is well deserved for the great work you and Aubrey do. Thank you.

I’m finally getting to read it via audiobook. It has been a great comfort as I visit family over the holidays.

Oh, no. Please don't give me evidence that the challenges on Game of Wool are relevant.

Jeans too tight, t-shirt too short to cover his belly, dark MAGA trucker cap too cringe...I can't think of anyone I'd less rather take fashion advice from. You know what he considers "cool" would be the fabric version of a cybertruck. I'll stick to listening to @dieworkwear.bsky.social

At bare minimum, every other reporter in the room should ask the exact same question until he either explodes or walks out. They're not just letting a colleague be abused; they're also letting him get away without answering the question.

We need to start giving awards to reporters who get called out in this way. Having him call you obnoxious seems to be good evidence you're doing your job. Unlike some of the others standing there with you.

I've been following you two forever, but I have to say this is probably my favorite thing you have written. Thank you.

I haven’t watched yet, but now I need to see what provoked this comment!

Have they been dimming the lights in the cabinet room so as not to disturb his sleep? It's been downright murky in there the last few days.

A few years ago, our cat Jason became similarly obsessed with a piece of dried vine stuck to the window. Could not be distracted from it for at least 36 hours straight. We documented Vinewatch2012 with regular photos and updates for our friends. You may be in for a long night.

What a joy to get to know Jim (and Charlie). I think Jim would have enjoyed our Jason, who played guitar for Vampire Weekend and taught Adam Levine how to move like Jagger. (Sadly, Jason passed a few years ago, but his spirit still speaks regularly to our current ginger, Archie.)

I'm glad to know that we're not the only ones whose cats lead such rich and interesting lives.

Just spent the weekend crammed into crowded, uncomfortable, child-sized airplane seats with no food, beverage, or fresh air. Wearing yoga pants was the only thing that made it possible. I'll dress professionally when airlines treat me like a professional, or minimally as an adult.
