I picked this up at an antique store. The first date mentioned in it is 1607 and the last date referenced is 1954.
So this will be my next book to read, reacquainting myself with what our nation was built upon.
I do still have hope for our country.

I had the pleasure of meeting Presto in his stall the day before his event.
Wish I could see him run tomorrow but, alas, this is my weekend to work.

My oldest and their SO are moving to Louisville today. We just finished loading everything up.
And it’s a good kind of sad that they are leaving to fly on their own. We’ll see them at Christmas.
But cue the tears anyway.

The John Lewis protest went well. Peaceful, in Atlanta, and I’d guess about 1000 people showed up to the one where I was (at the MlK, jr ctr).
Now it’s a balmy weekend and I’m going to tidy up the garden.
