29 feeling like 37 at bedtime is not awesome. The power being out over dinner and half the evening is not awesome. Attempting to sleep with the AC on is very not awesome.
However, I did get a very short visit with my uncle I haven't seen in years. And that was awesome.

So the trick to get the 5 year old to school is for them to have a bouncy castle. Unfortunately, I doubt I can convince them to rent one for the entire school year.

5 year old likes to listen to a very specific 4 minute piano lullaby all night while she sleeps. Somehow the transition to the very similar piano song I have for my alarm actually does wake me up. But not the kids. Brains are weird.

Well, it's not the overwhelming mandate I wanted. It makes me sort of sick how many Canadians want garbage American style politicians. But it sure was fun to wake up and watch PP go bye bye.

It's voting day in Canada.
Back in November I was absolutely sure that Harris would pull it off, that people couldn't possibly be that stupid. But y'all disabused me of that notion. And I am biting my nails in fear today. Canada, please don't be as stupid as them. We just can't. Elbows up, eh?
