If there's one silver lining to be taken from tonight, it's that NZ may finally be working out how MMP functions. The Greens, Te Pāti Māori and Act all scored convincing electorate wins on their own merits. We may be in for a total dumpster fire, but more varied representation is a Good Thing.

I have no idea why this story about last summer's tagging session is appearing now, but it's mildly interesting and contains fewer actual errors than the average write-up of its kind. Also, it cites some cool song research. Just sayin'.
