Well, I think that’s sweet. I just think there’s a good balance between not taking it personally but acknowledging my “aw phooey that comment hurt my feelings” as perfectly normal.

I have enough of an ego for that to hurt my feelings. That doesn’t make my reader wrong or my feelings invalid. That just means we’re human beings.

I dunno, I think books are a lot like tea and that my book very well isn’t someone’s cup of tea. Readers should have reviews to explore without an author getting bent out of shape about it.
