Makes sense - was thinking of old times stuff like harnessing electricity and then being uncertain of its applications in the medical field for a bit. That’s not a direct analogy though. Agreed that insisting on blanket adoption for a product with extremely questionable use is bad, haha

I don’t think it’s necessarily super unusual for a brand new tech to have uncertainty around application. But it’s shady as hell to have a new technology who’s producers give the answer of “everything” to justify pervasive injustices in its name
