In March, I attended the Volunteer Leadership Summit for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. There were SO MANY takeaways, and our chapter won some awards! Here are a few key facts that stuck out to me: 1/🧵

Part of me wants to start a new thread to keep track of my drafting and part of me is resistant to any pressure to show results, so I will settle on sharing this update from when I caught my manuscript at 22,222 words.

I’m catching some rays through the leaves of this plant that I love very much.

Before I had a proper trellis, half of its length snapped off, but look at her go. Might be time for another trim and propagation soon. Not exactly sure what I’m doing, but I am so glad to see it grow!

Final treatment of 2024 is in the books. I can only hope the yearly January insurance approval goes smoothly before the next one, but we’ll leave that for then!

One thing about me is that I love book aesthetics, so for my first post (hello Bluesky), I thought I would share some of mine!

The first aesthetic is for my YA Fantasy on sub. The second is for an Adult Romcom that will be on sub soon. And the others are either plotted or in progress!
