Just for fun I'll talk about 0.2 Birth by Sleep too. It was pretty fun and I like being able to move while using magic. The new models were weird at first but I don't mind them (the disney characters still look weird though lol) when I finish kh3 I'll probably add my thoughts about it here

Dream Drop Distance is in the same boat as CoM where the gameplay didn't grab me but the story did. It's another game that shows Sora at a low point and adds depth to his character. It's a pretty short game but honestly I think that's fine.

Birth by Sleep is my personal favorite (so far) I love Terra, Aqua, and Ventus as protags and the miscommunication between them is done in a way that isn't annoying and is more tragic to watch. Command deck is my favorite playstyle and I like how abilities work

im playing these games through steam so I can't really talk about Days and Re:Coded as games because I didn't play them and it wouldn't be fair. That being said it's nice to see more of Axel's mentality during CoM and I love data riku/sora plus the ending bit of Re:Coded is so good

Kh2 is my second favorite game. It fixes a lot of the issues I had with kh1 (gameplay wise) and I love the story. Drive forms are fun but a pain to level. A lot of my confusion about the story is cleared up in this game. Also I really love Sora and Riku's friendship in this game

Chain of Memories didn't grab me gameplay wise but I loved the story. Namine and the Riku Replica were really interesting characters and dueling as Riku is a fun mechanic. Also it's nice to see Sora be just as capable of having darkness in his heart as Riku

Kh1 was not my favorite but I think it's an amazing first game for the series. I felt like it could've focused more on the story and it's jank sometimes but it's still very fun and the ending still hits. It also has my favorite version of Hollow Bastion

For right now their lore is still going off of Beowulf as the inspiration but like very loosely.. which is what the game does anyway so it fits

originally they were named Abel and way before that Grendel but I didn't think making them Abel would be as fun and I just didn't like Grendel as the name lol
