It’s interesting to have this very strong feeling in my bones that there is no longer any point to trying to prove to people that things are actually as bad as they are and that now is the time simply to mobilize the people who already know it.

You would think Trump was already president by the lack of leadership coming from the WH. The current president has more than two months left in office. He should be rallying political leaders — and all Americans — by announcing steps that will make it easier for us to resist fascism next year.

So a lot of people who are in unstable, abusive, and/or periodically violent living situations keep cell phones hidden for emergencies.
