Trying to keep up with the kids, take care of myself, and do some good for others.
Thinking about the overhead sunglasses compartment in your car….do the glasses go lenses up or lenses down? Either way, it seems that the lenses are likely to become scratched.

Babysitting for a friend today. I don’t think she realizes how little I remember from when my kids were young.

I will share with you something my daughter told me in high school. She said, “Mom, nothing ages you more than calling it pot. It’s weed.”

Multiple times a day I consider how crazy it is that there are small animals living inside our house with us, roaming free, doing whatever they choose, and we think this normal and fun #cats

Does anyone else watch an episode of Schitt’s Creek and then find themselves talking or gesturing like Alexis or David?

Let’s go NC — let Tillis know how you feel about his vote on Kennedy. Tillis supports vaccines to protect the health of children in NC. And he knows one person’s petty revenge politics are not the legislature’s job. (202) 224-6342

Does everyone else find photos on the iPhone or challenging to deal with since the last update?

Having just finished watching all 16 seasons of, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia for the first time, I was thrilled to see the gang show up at Abbott Elementary to volunteer.

America is so diverse. In my local school district (140,000 students), students come from 175 countries and speak 146 native languages. I loved that for my children who got to experience so much local culture every day, better preparing them for the world they will function in after graduation.

Everyone in 2106 who said they wanted to see the U.S. run like a business, here we are! It’s all about the short-term profit and very little for you, the employees, who are seen as an expense not an asset.

I’m the only person in my household who likes a quiet house. Everyone else plays music in whatever room they are in.

I taught my kids about democracy last night by having them vote on which movie to watch and pizza to order.

I then picked the movie and pizza because I'm the one with the money.

Thanks to FB, I was reminded that 11 years ago I met Joe Biden at a healthcare conference and ate dinner at Jose Andres’ restaurant….a lot has changed in the past decade bringing both of them to international acclaim. Amazing that just this week POTUS has disparaged both of them.

Not OK. One of those votes he is attempting to disqualify is my child’s very legal vote. And there is nothing we can do about it.
Three Republican justices on the North Carolina Supreme Court made it very clear tonight that they intend to steal a seat on their court for a Republican candidate who lost by 734 votes. Their opinions are pure Stop the Steal insanity.

The 4th Circuit needs to intervene immediately. rb.gy/nqceab

What the Republicans have figured out is that people don’t care about governance, they care about themselves, which leaves governance to a battle between the few who care about other people and the many who want to enrich themselves. And with capitalism, whichever side has more money will win.
