Milestone! 🚩The IRIS+ Study has run its first 2 training sessions for clinicians in GP practices. 🎉

IRIS+ is investigating whether the successful IRIS domestic abuse (DA) intervention for women can also help clinicians identify & refer children & men to specialist DA services.

I'm delighted that the Friends & Family Handbook (www.womensaid.org.uk/information-...) is now live on Women's Aid Federation of England website. Writing this resource was a real passion project for me, not least because I have personal experience of feeling out of my depth whilst offering support.

Five years ago, the first Covid lockdown trapped domestic abuse survivors in homes that weren’t safe. I was working at Women’s Aid at the time and we used admin data to inform the policy response and get more support for survivors. Read more here: bristoluniversitypressdigital.com/view/journal...
