I fell off a ladder on May 9th. Badly broken wrist, massive bruising, and a broken bone in my foot. The physical pain, combined with the loss of independence, did a number on my well-being. I'm healing slowly. I hope the rest of the planet follows suit.

Homeless people tend not to have ID. They are typically vouched by a social worker, police officer, or shelter worker. It happens a lot. The UCP is again trying to disenfranchise an entire vulnerable population. It seems to be their thing.

And the big one. Eliminate vouching in elections. This is where a person who has no ID is "vouched" by a registered voter who knows them. I had 3 Vouching situations during the whole polling period. But, here's where it gets bad. cont.

2. Give polling stations a maximum of 12 hours to report results. Then what? Disenfranchise thousands of voters because there were just "too many votes to count"? cont.

1. Eliminate electronic tabulation of votes. No biggie. Most of it is already a manual process. It will just add a few hours to the process. That is, until you see #2. cont.

Who knows. They might surprise us. But, I agree. The conservatives likely have a lock on that. All I can do is smile and help everyone vote.
