Irony.
One of the great unintended consequences stories of all time is American liberals buying cars that they thought would save the planet, thereby enriching the man who bought the presidency for Trump, the most environmentally dangerous president in history.
Tesla sales in Europe are down 45 percent from this time last year — a steep decline for an automaker long seen as the leader of the electric vehicle revolution. Experts say the decline could be caused by a variety of factors, including increased electric competition and backlash to CEO Elon Musk.
