I'm an author-illustrator, and I've been able to create the initial thumbnails for my pbs. However, I'm paralyzed when it comes to colouring as I'm a trad artist (oil paints..etc). It looks as if people want digital. How can I get over this hump?

I wanted to update you all. I now have a cover artist for this book. I'll wait to reveal who it is, but her illustrations are gorgeous, and her resume is incredible!

Thank you for this article. Honestly, I wish I spoke w/my last agent about why she pushed back her plans to send my ms on sub. 2yrs into our agent/author relationship, & she hadn't subbed it. Been crushed ever since. I've questioned being a good writer, esp since I've not gotten another agent offer.
