The night the whole sky turned green and red. It started out calmly, and as the evening progressed it suddenly exploded: everywhere you looked, northern lights were visible - north, south, east, west.

The trip that sort off started it all? Back in 2016 myself and a friend hiked through the Icelandic highlands. I carried too much weight and all but destroyed my feet. But it was a great trip.
