This is a good time to remind people that the similarly overused less lethal weapon tear gas is super dangerous for pregnant people. Every politician that is antiabortion or proclaims wanting to protect children should be vehemently against use of these weapons as crowd control.

Immortal Gifts might not be about sapphic vampires of color, but it IS about marginalized vampires trying to lead an ethical life. Neither book ever questions whether a vampire can be an ethical being.
