I am dismayed at how many millions of people, many of them with jobs, still need help to afford food. The minimum wage is too low. CEOs and other big wigs are sucking out all the profits and paying low level workers such low wages they can't afford to live. This is all wrong. #Raiseminimumwage

I've been locked out of Facebook. It simply won't load. I've been posting complaints about the big beautiful bill. Nothing nasty, just economic analysis of its impact--the deficit, rural hospitals, etc. Oh well. Kind of creepy, though.

Can we focus on the Big aBominable Bill? Pressure you senators to vote no. Not only does it cut MEDICAID by lowering eligibility limits, etc. etc. But the rich guys get a huge tax break which creates such a huge deficit it will cause Medicare to be cut too. The Marines in LA is scare theater.

What are the odds the good employment numbers are wrong. Do you think that maybe some Trump loyalists made an 'honest' mistake and reported +228 k, but it was really up 2.28k??

I am in mourning. Our agencies doing #medicalresearch into cures for diseases, vaccines, how to curtail the spread of #ebola, etc. etc. have been decimated. Is this really what the people of this country want? What happens when someone with drug resistant #TB coughs on us?
