This feels weird to say, but I order kids books for a store and I feel like picture books change me ALL THE TIME? My newest one is this book Truckosaurus coming in March that sounds like it’s gonna be a standard Dino truck mashup, but is full of the most perfect joyful fever dreams?

I went on vacation for two weeks. For 3 of the days I had ZERO cell phone service. And there were no TVs. There was a very sweet baby water buffalo. I kind of want to go back.

I bought myself a treat Lego wreath while I was at my parents’. I told myself it would be a terrible idea to assemble it while away from home. I lasted two hours.
Of course it got totally crushed and all the bits fell off in my suitcase and now I have to see if I can recreate this thing I loved?

When I work from home, I sit at the dining room table and my roommate’s cat sits with his back to me but his ears pointed at me until I get his favorite blanket from the couch and put it on the floor by my feet.
