Which county? Inquiring minds would like to know if it was north of I64, north of I70, or north of I80. One of those is a cakewalk challenge, another is a bit harder, the last one is a full on battle.

instead of "I am sorry to hear that" to "you have my sympathies having to that happen"
it taught my brain at least, the 1st now implies feeling bad at being told - a centering on myself. the 2nd focuses on the speaker, making them the center of the conversation.
That was a success I think.

it was also an exercise in humility - a metaphorical "i" vs "I" to see if it also shifted my perceptions in listening to others; "hearing" (reading) their expressed concerns, worries, joys, and sorrows without selfishly inserting myself. 2/3

inconclusive tbh. i kept up all lowercase and lazy punctuation for a year before my first proper case post. i didn't notice any changes in interactions with that post or ones that followed.
when i ended it after 2 years, and let the cat out of the bag, the response was...underwhelming. *shrugs* 1/3
