I forgot it was #caturday. So here's Janet welcoming me home last night, and Monday the Thunderchunkin impatiently wanting her share of sushi.
Domestic long-haired tabby cat's bright pink tongue licking her human's hand as her ear gets rubbed. Very wide domestic shorthair tabby cat, with her left ear (as viewed) laying flat sideways, staring intently at her human because she sniffed the sushi when it was brought home.

It reads: I have been saying more and more and more, the Birthright Citizenship EO was all about stripping citizenship from people so they can be sent to the "work makes you free" camps. The grand hunt is finished, and I have been presented the spoils. As is my due, as head of this small clowder of course.

Monday found it and chased it under some shoes by the door. Now they are taking turns trying to get at it. I have never seen them this intently focused before. It has a fighting chance to escape at this point - there's a very small gap at the bottom of the door it could wiggle through.

A suicidal blue tail skink has made it into the house, and the cats are actively hunting it. The question is, do I try to capture the skink and release it outside, or do I callously let them continue doing their notional jobs? #cats
