which is just another reason it sucks Tommy supposedly isn't coming back. because without him, I'm not sure buck will ever actually understand what happened there. how does he then move on from that

are just buck pining and there's no actual conversation buck has with anyone about what happened also makes me think the show believes buck is the sympathetic one here.

out of guilt. The Tommy ask is framed as a way where buck learns something from Josh,& applies that learning to his relationship with Tommy, but gets broken up with. I think the show wants us to take Buck's side, hence why I initially said it was character development. Considering the next two eps

buck also has a history of asking people to move in as a way to fix something. this isnt exactly like the Taylor situation but there's also a stark difference: there's a framing to the Taylor ask that obviously paints it as their doom. The audience knows buck fucked up and is clearly asking
