the "we send the police to your house" bit that underlies every mental health conversation when you're really struggling is going to lead to a state where people go to ChatGPT for therapy because they can't afford a therapist and don't feel like it's a good idea to talk about it with anyone

in a turn of events only my followers care about; you ever realize midway through a logo idea that you accidentally found the zohran for new york campaign font

I did better on this quiz when I just looked at them and wondered if they voted for Trump or Harris. knowing their preferred policy positions actually made it significantly worse

the Zitron piece from Wired is perhaps too catty by 20 percent, but I do think this is a pretty good summary of why I think he's not very good at reading the room

would like to point out that God's destruction of Sodom is often mischaracterized as due to homosexuality when really, the actual sin of Sodom was inhospitality to visitors and residents. the laws of Sodom were specifically built to punish vulnerability

even if you're doing a tribute, it's probably still going to turn out bad. these are tennessee's 2025 smokey gray uniforms (yes, they did get stiffed by nike and yes they are hiding these by using them against new mexico state)

vandy has sometimes been decent, but i've never been concerned about having them on the schedule looking ahead as the toughest remaining opponent. i'm sure dan mcgugin would be proud

fascist architecture, on the other hand, is very severe and lacking in either symmetry or flow. the nazis built grotesquely large classical facades that lacked symmetry, and the italian movement largely coalesced around disorientation of form (nazi designs on left, italian futurist on right)

it is important to note specifically though that the palladian style was more aspirational than anything, with the idea that a republican government would aspire to the concepts of empricism and rationality. in architecture, this is represented by symmetry and flow -- holkham hall is a good example

really, most civic buildings in colonial america (as most buildings were in built up areas) were georgian in style. the thomas paine chipotle is a good example of it, actually

i have a whole folder of buildings i love on this computer and sometimes i look at it to remind myself how cool architecture can be if we just try, babe
