1 - there isn’t enough rooftop in the country to provide what we need
2 - dribs and drabs here and there isn’t effective in the grid
3 - this approach isn’t scalable as fast as we need

Farmland is the best approach - !for now! - that’s why all these projects are 40 year temporary sites

I think it would be really interesting to do some genuinely representative polling of some of the towns and villages near large solar developments. Consultations and campaigns are so naturally self selecting, and you only hear the loudest claiming to speak for “the local people”.

Always long but worthwhile!

If the council would like to send an exploratory committee to investigate their mass-transit ecosystem I’d be very happy to volunteer.

Would love for Oxford to have a Disney World style monorail, boat, gondola ecosystem to support existing buses. And what a lovely way to see the skyline!

Wondering how much I could manipulate boomers at work by adopting Chat GPT complimentary language in everything.

What a great insight, Stuart. Have you also noticed that xxxx

Instead of, Sorry Stuart, that’s not quite right, we actually need xxxx

I’m sure @dieworkwear.bsky.social wrote a thread about how he always has sloping shoulders because he has shoulderpads and the shoulder seams are set extra wide(?) This all seems very high and square. Definitely looks like it’s hiding something underneath.

Is there still an Artemis at Trinity?

Spent some lovely summer evenings watching them mousing in the bushes.

Let’s sell all out public property to Goldmoney Inc, what could possibly go wrong?

Next on the agenda for approval, a 25 year IT contract with Cyberdyne Systems. I hear they’re making amazing strides in the AI space.

Goldmoney Inc feels like the “LexCorp” of a very lazy or unimaginative comic book writer. I’m sure they made their name in Unobtanium mining.

Shopping is such a fascinating and knotty problem - especially given that many ships being delivered today will still be in operation in 2050.

Interested in than projection though. Around 40% current shipping is moving fossil fuels, is that doubling in a Net Zero world?
