So they didn’t like the ad. Let’s just post Reagan’s 5 min speech against tariffs as it appears on YouTube.

Over and over. On all platforms (some of y’all are still on X).

Reminder that seven Democratic senators voted to confirm Kristi Noem and six Dem senators declined to vote either way.

She was confirmed, 59-34.

The good faith experiment is clearly over, and we need the Democratic senators who didn't stand against her nomination to be loud as hell right now.

this piece by @jbaileyky.bsky.social breaks it down for KY:
- "Federal funds sent to the Kentucky state budget totaled $22 billion in 2024"
- "That equals 43% of state spending"
- "Medicaid covers 1 in 3 Kentuckians... Medicaid props up hospitals and health care clinics"
Kentucky depends heavily on federal funding. Trump's cuts will be devastating. | Opinion
Trump's federal funding freeze gave us a glimpse of what's to come if Congress permanently cuts the federal budget. It won't be good for Kentucky.

I really hope Democratic lawmakers took notice of the actions of Sen. Schatz, Sen. Kim, and others today and observed how quickly they were celebrated by millions of voters.

This is not about getting the response 100% right or knowing exactly what the plan should be.

It's about making an effort.

Rep. Rich McCormick has it wrong - healthy, free school meals are an objective good thing. Feeding hungry kids is not "sponging off the government." Well-fed kids are better learners, period!

This is not the story. The story is Trump nominating a completely unfit person to run the defense department that he knows will be pliant and Senate Republicans making a choice to not give a shit. Hegseth didn't accomplish anything today.

History has always been a pendulum and always will be.

Many years from now, when the pendulum swings back and Mark Zuckerberg attempts to pretend he always supported LGBTQ rights, remember this moment. Sear it in your memory.

Never let him forget when he gave into hatred for his own preservation.
