Just one more and my special edition collection of Heaven Official’s Blessing by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu will be complete. I loved this when I first read it, and while I’m usually someone who only buys one copy of a book, this is one of the rare exceptions (It’s one book split into eight parts)

The Irresistible Urge to Fall for Your Enemy by Brigitte Knightley (mini review)
Rating: 5 ⭐️
I really enjoyed this book. I found the magic system interesting, the dialogue funny, and the characters complex and enjoyable. The only downside is the second book isn’t out yet.

When the Tides Held the Moon by Venessa Vida Kelley
Rating: 4(?) ⭐️
I’m waffling on how I feel about it. Some of it was really beautiful, but the pacing was a bit all over and the ending felt very abrupt.
Overall, I’m glad I read it. There’s a lot to like about it.

My Overall Impression: To me it wasn’t as strong as the first two, and felt like a filler episode.

In talking to my grandmother today, I learned that my childhood nickname that she’s always called me actually came from her mom, my great grandmother. Her mom passed when I was 9 months old. I have a baby blanket she made for me and stories of her. I am feeling very loved.
