“When the stars fell, when the seas boiled and the earth burned, my faith didn't die. That is when I began to believe. God was real, and he hated us.”

I, an anti-capitalist lefty, worked for a very large brand as a designer for a while, and to this day I still recall a moment when one of the brand managers was discussing how they were so "STOKED ABOUT THE PRODUCT" which sent a weird chill through my spine. It's haunted me ever since.

I sure wish we had a healthy and formidable regulatory apparatus, because like, there's a version of this that isn't an insane wasteful plague upon human consciousness and planetary ecology... but capitalism is a cancer that must destroy everything it touches.

Yeah I just read this this morning, and while I love being able to quickly fix a photo it's not worth the devolution of human consciousness and murder of all planetary ecosystems, that's for sure.

I will stand up for the photoshop “generative fill” tool and happily heap everything else directly onto the pyre.

Shifted my focus from making zines, writing essays and giving speeches to just 1 on 1 “keep the babies alive” focus.

This is why i mostly exited trans activism spaces. I have absolutely no interest in fighting my people, I’m not a fucking gender cop and no one else should be.

Yeah it comes from Basque country! We've also called it "poor man's sangria" and I think it originated as a way of turning shitty wine into a delicious beverage. Buy the cheapest bottle of Tempranillo you can find, mix 50/50 with coke, on ice, garnish with citrus.

We already drink kalimotxos regularly (red wine + coke, usually with lime juice), it’s not a huge leap to think cream soda would also be tasty.
