Holy shet, I encountered those very vehicles on the parkway right after this. Immediately noticed that they were heavily tinted, driving slowly, and were lacking front license plates but had Alabama plates on the back. I got a sick feeling in my stomach as we passed each other. The mind reels.

Agree with much of this in spirit but we’re going to end up with good ol’ Amy K who will talk a big game and then push status quo and “centrism” between throwing staplers at her staff

SO much to cringe over in that article..

Given the loss of “third spaces,” this could be a huge opportunity for communities too! Just have to figure out how to keep it profitable. I’m 5yrs sober so don’t frequent these places anymore, but I do miss the idea of them and would totally go if more had events like these (and kombucha on tap!!)
