I'm gonna say something insane that will really only mean something to me but it's also like the biggest compliment I have ever given to a gundam show
the ending of this episode feels like the ending of one of the more emotionally impactful episodes of heaven's lost property and I love it sooo much

the AV is something that only works for people, is used to make you connect to a suit that is specifically built to be extremely person shaped (the gundams are the only suits in the show to have like full proper human bodies, everything else is weird somewhere like the head)

I know a lot of people view mcgillis as a creep but I genuinely do think he'd do like anything to keep almiria safe
like he's not GOOD at handling her, he plays into her dreams about them being married and that is bad but it's rooted in him not understanding just telling her no would be healthier
