This is worrying
According to Oxford City Council's survey on their 'Lebensraum' proposal for Local Government Reorganisation, towns including Carteron, Faringdon and Thame appear to have been erased from the county. Many county residents also look to Reading.

It’s great to have such an active MP - well done Freddie
One year on from the General Election—thank you to everyone in Henley and Thame who’s shared your ideas, concerns and experiences. Over 6,500 cases and thousands of conversations have shaped my work. I’ll keep listening and working hard for our community.

Yesterday in Parliament I called on the government to support the delivery of the Thame to Haddenham Greenway.

I urged the Minister to consider issuing guidance to support councils in using Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPOs) for active travel projects, sadly the Minister declined to comment.

It was the last full council today for this 4 year term and here are some of us in the chamber.

I wish all those councillors who have decided not to stand again all the best for the future, and good luck to all those that are attempting to give it another go 😊

I popped into the Repair Cafe today in Thame which operates every month at the Scout Hut - and there’s cake 🍰

Next repair cafe will be Easter Saturday so if you need anything repaired, make sure you put it in your diary

Amazing work from Debbie and the team

Rumsey’s in Thame appeared on BBC South recently about the soaring costs of chocolate and how tough it is for their business at the moment.

Rumsey’s is such a great asset to Thame High Street so please support them is you can - the chocolate is pretty good too 🍫

LibDem Cllr Kate Gregory: “I’m disappointed this alternative budget has removed the Haddenham–Thame Greenway. It has huge support locally. I know Cllr Champken-Woods supports this project and he has been massively let down by his party.” (Thame is a two-member division, one currently Con, one LD.)

Cllr Kate Gregory says £641,000 is going towards speeding up the production of EHCPs (Education, Health+Care Plans) for children with special needs. “But it is important to be honest about the difficulties. We will have spent £100m more than Govt allocated for SEND provision, and we are not alone.”

💰It’s budget day tomorrow and funding has been allocated to progress with the Haddenham and Thame Greenway 💰

😞 Sadly the Conservative alternative budget have removed it - I will not be voting for the alternative budget & hope to bring good news tomorrow 🤞🤞
