The painting I’m about to start today and plan to show at the interim show of my program is already causing controversy because it depicts shibari. I need to think of the general audience, including children. So I guess I need to do a shibari workshop for kids

Update: they called me specky which is apparently worse than four-eyes but I’m laughing.
Last night a group of teens near Buchanan Street Subway station said some nasty shit to me as I was trying to make the last train. The guy who was walking me to the station told them to fuck off.
The thing is, Glaswegian is still at times indecipherable to me so idk wtf the kids said lol

This is probably better for my productivity in grad school.. but I’m gonna miss it. Side note of everyone also wanting to leave Instagram. It feels like a scattering of the left in particular to me, which isn’t a good feeling.

This definitely worked (using boiling water to extract wax from the glass jar)… but on the third round the boiling water cracked the glass and boiling water went everywhere lol
