Russia and China, have ramped up recruitment efforts targeting US federal employees—particularly those recently fired or at risk of termination. These efforts are unfolding aggressively on LinkedIn, where adversaries are reaching out under the guise of job opportunities, networking, and consulting.

There are two conflicting ‘ways of being’ that are core to the success of humanity as the dominant species on earth. One is simple Darwinism: survival of the fittest. The next is that of collectivism. We are stronger together.

We cannot [successfully] weed out either component.

I have come to the conclusion that it is not possible to weed out the bad elements and create a perfect society. We are individuals who are imperfect. I do not claim to always practice what I preach myself. Our goal, as a society should be to minimize the damage, and maximize opportunity.

When people talk about the battle between good and evil, they are really talking about the need to belong vs the need to be unique/special.

It is not about who is right or wrong, but how we coexist. I have spent my adult life (40ish years) trying to figure out how to design the perfect society

I have had an epiphany. I have tried my entire life to understand why we [humans] are not one big, happy family. I was still prepubescent when I realized that the great truths of the universe were not about a particular religious belief, but likely about what they shared.

Trump and Vance just embarrassed America in front of the world. The only person happy about their despicable performance is Putin.

A GOP bill defunding schools that mandate vaccines would be called the “Protect our Schools Act.”

A GOP bill raising the retirement age for social security would be called the “Retire With Dignity Act.”
