You know it is garbage straight out the gate when

Big show of solidarity at the emergency Downing St demo tonight. Israel broke ceasefire to strike & kill over 400 in Gaza overnight; the Israeli blockade denies even the most basic supplies to more than 1 million Palestinian children.
In our millions, in our billions

Are
All

Anti-misogyny, anti-imperialism, antifascism, the care and domestic labour that keeps the world turning, and trans rights. Happy international women's day from a beautiful demo 💖🩷

Finally getting round to this by @garethdennis.bsky.social and so far, literally so good. Not just for including a Chico Mendes quote less than 4 pages in, but for doing what many still fail to do - link climate struggle to trade unionism and class struggle, and in a way that respects its reader

Rest in peace Clemenza you beautiful plush, when you were adopted into our house you were so sick I thought you only had like 3 months left in you, but you rallied like a champion and spent 3 and a half years being weird and wonderful and making everyone fall in love with you 💖

Marx Memorial Library and Mark Aston, alongside Red on the Green, put on a great event this week: "The Fenians and the 1967 Clerkenwell Explosion"

Vital to keep alive the human stories behind the history books. Here's a photo of the Further Reading list for anyone who couldn't make it 💖

Great to witness a frank discussion about things the movement does not confront enough: the need for militant, industrial trade unionism, but also the need for discipline, and to prioritise building organised, sustainable workplace power before inflating membership numbers among disconnected workers

Really enjoyed the British Showcase for the London Animation festival at @barbican.bsky.social last night - short films that explored race, isolation, war, historical trauma and worker alienation alongside hope, joy, and healing
