Daily #Wales with a random post at the start of a busy weekend (yes, I know it’s Friday, but that counts this weekend)

Lights outside Dylan’s restaurant in Cricieth, looking across the bay towards Harlech…
November 28, 2025 at 7:28 AM
Daily #Wales looking back at the snowy winter of 2010/11…
November 27, 2025 at 5:55 AM
Daily #Wales with a spot more archaeology. Honest - it’s an Iron Age hut circle.

Walls, heaped and overgrown, are still about a metre higher than the centre, and the entrance is clear.

Daily #Wales with a little not-so-random archaeology from the village…

Oh, it’s #TombTuesday!
November 25, 2025 at 6:28 AM
Daily #Wales from the weekend - looking down on the Artro estuary
November 24, 2025 at 6:43 AM
Daily #Wales from the archives, reflecting the wind that is currently whistling around the house. Not a landscape, but… 😉
November 23, 2025 at 6:07 AM
Daily #Wales with a random pic for Saturday.

Ah - the woods behind the village in spring. The scent of the massed bluebells is always extraordinary…

No photos of snow from this year (work) but have one from a few years ago for today’s Daily #Wales, as the snow line is similar.

(The pointy one, head in cloud, is Yr Wyddfa / Snowdon)
November 21, 2025 at 6:43 AM
Have this in the meanwhile - from 2016, but very similar indeed to today…

Daily #Wales back in summer again, as we had snow on the tops yesterday. Hm.
November 20, 2025 at 6:56 AM
Daily #Wales - is looking back to summer as there’s a warning for ice in the forecast. Brrr.
November 19, 2025 at 7:15 AM
More sheep from Daily #Wales today (of course). But this one should clearly have had audio.
November 18, 2025 at 5:27 AM
Daily #Wales hasn’t featured sheep for a while. This cannot be allowed to continue…
November 17, 2025 at 7:02 AM
More harking back from Daily #Wales, but today (following a chat with friends yesterday) looking back to the snowy winter of 2010/11. Pretty but a pain in the arse - particularly when falling over.
November 16, 2025 at 6:23 AM
Daily #Wales definitely harking back to summer before going out to see what damage Storm Claudia has caused …
November 15, 2025 at 7:13 AM
Daily #Wales is still harking back to summer (tomorrow, we have weather warnings for … rain)

Midsummer night on the beach. Sigh.
November 13, 2025 at 6:35 AM
Daily #Wales is still recalling summer. Dry weather. That thing.

Beaumaris. It was hot. It didn’t rain.
November 12, 2025 at 6:35 AM
Daily #Wales with a summer reminder for what promises to be the start of another wet week

Boardwalk onto Traeth Benar… sigh
November 10, 2025 at 6:19 AM
Daily #Wales, with a Sunday from the archives and a walk in the hills (I’d need wellies today, or maybe waders)
November 9, 2025 at 6:39 AM
Also Daily #Wales.

Heddiw, 1966. Cofiwch Aberfan.
Today, 1966. Remember Aberfan.

An avalanche of coal waste slid down the mountain, burying 18 houses and destroying the school, where the day had just started. 116 children died, as did 28 adults.
October 21, 2025 at 8:45 AM
Daily #Wales with more colour from the garden - Michaelmas daisies, aka asters.
October 21, 2025 at 7:34 AM
Daily #Wales starting the week with a late-flowering rose (alas, virtually no scent)
October 20, 2025 at 5:42 AM
Daily #Wales for a (hopefully) quiet Sunday…

Garden detail from Plas Brondanw, taken a couple of Sundays ago - we were the only visitors. Nice.
October 19, 2025 at 6:05 AM
A not-so-daily #Wales (life gets in the way sometimes) with a sheep. This one clearly has Opinions.
October 18, 2025 at 6:03 AM
Back to work today for Daily #Wales - it’s been fun having a holiday at home but hey ho. And back to the archive pics…
