I know some good freelance editors if you want some suggestions/connections. I'd love to see a big, respected newsletter like yours doing this - it would be a good example, too

yeah, that's why everyone needs subbing, even really good writers like you (that is not a dig at you, for the record).

also, an editor would help you spot internal inconsistencies and help you resolve those.

It's certainly lucrative enough to pay for freelancers for some of the bigger newsletters. And to be clear, it's really them I'm talking about: if you have a big readership that pays you, you should treat your work professionally and use an editor.

not sure - it would be down to the individuals. I might charge say fifty quid to give a long post a once-over, especially if that were regular work, but I'm not freelance and I don't know what others would charge.

Either that or a series of prequels and films about what Bond got up to between the existing canon of movies. Great opportunity to go back to the old baddies, too.
