I think I have some of his art I bought 7+ years ago in the kitchen. Guess that's coming down in the move, don't feel like displaying is art anymore. Any one got any suggestions for cool tiki/tropical island art, need to replace the Stitch one that hangs behind my tiki mugs.

Not sure how much you can strip down a 1min long coaster other than no theming at all.

Fair, SLCs especially didn't help their case early on. I'm the same with Gerstlauer, I've ridden so many rough and bad eurofighters that my initial reaction is oh no. But getting out of that habit slowly as in the last year I've ridden roughly 8 decent to great ones.

Vekoma has been doing pretty good the last decade + if sirens is anything like their recent streak it's probably as good as it looks.
Though I'm probably biased as I have a Vekoma as my number 1 currently

It might also being prepped this early as a space to stage pieces as they are removed from RRR as unlike a lot of other coasters getting removed leaving it below where it was on the ride when removed even temporarily would hinder the removal of the rest. So a dump area before removed off site maybe?

Where did you get the star wars lounge pants/joggers? I may need a pair.

Also, a lot of American Park fans judge it on when it was installed there, not remembering that it was 7 years old by the time it made it to Epcot. Judging it on 2014 rides, not 2021 rides, makes a big difference as someone who experienced the Paris version first early on.

Oh depending on where you're watching it that might change. We did a rewatch back late last year (UK based) and it's on prime. Random episodes had the right opening theme it was so weird like someone got lazy checking they'd all been changed.

More parks need adventure and hiking trails. The Paris ones are always great, Phantasialand's being built around Black Mamba make for such a unique experience, the mini adventure paths at Toverland just add small layers to the park.

Beat things ever, I always grab nuggets from them when I'm there.

...If it's bugging you a lot maybe reach out and ask in future could they seek permission before adapting your work for their portfolio. Put a president out there for the future, you have a right to dictate how your work is used.

...But the point is even though they would have just been in my house for my use, I didn't feel right doing it without Rob's permission.

I feel like even if it's practice for a portfolio, seeking permission is key when it comes to stuff like this...

.. permission so I reached out to him before doing anything. He graciously said yes. And though it didn't happen mainly cause 2 days later I screwed my wrist up and by the time it got sorted I had other more pressing things to catch up on and still want to but waiting for a house move now....

I don't think you're in the wrong to feel sour about it. The only time I had a similar situation to this was @robyeodesign.com had designed a series of Christmas cards with Disney inspired wreaths on them. I wanted to make 3D models of them to print for personal use only but felt wrong without..
