Little Kraken's Bath time. Had a silly idea that the last drawing I did was just the imagination of a kid. So did a very quick follow up in acrylic markers. Not bad for a 30 mins rush job.

Finally putting pen to paper in a new sketchbook that I've had for years.

Okay fine lines are harder than you think and rubbers cut easier than lino (though only done lino cutting once...) gonna need to factor that into my ideas for the other days and throw some ideas out.

It's that time of year again where Kate starts inktober late. Only by one day this time and it's only half my fault. Yes I was indecisive but Amazon had to have slower delivery on the one thing I needed.

So this past weekend I was at Alton Towers and we got so close to a train take over twice first on Oblivion where we were two people shy, then on smiler we were one person shy. Our group only got to 16 later when we were doing nemesis and wickerman where it wasn't enough for a full train 🤣

Finally plucked up the courage to go to a Lorcana event at a store today... Turns out they don't really run it any more as no one has turned up in weeks. I was kinda hoping that Sunday was going to be better than Saturday I guess not. Add insult to injury got stuck in bad traffic on the way home.

Sorry for the Lorcana spam but hey I've had two more attempts at 3D cards I think I'm slowly getting better at this. Pascal is the most recent one and the lenses have a layer of UV resin in them to give it a shine. Left to right is order of making them.

So I've ended up with a bunch of extra Lorcana cards so thought I'd try my hand at a 3D card. Not bad for my first attempt but defo improvements needed.

Was getting my rabbits their annual check up and vaccines today (slightly round they were described as so less pellets) and saw the sweetest friendliest rabbit in the adoption section on the way out. If it had been any time but now I probably would be looking to turn my pair into a trio.

How has it been one year since I got my two bunnies. Tried to recreate the photo from bringing Rorschach home and realised just how big he has got. I don't have a good photo comparison for Kimiko but she was so tiny a year ago.
