If not constrained by the need to fit (however poorly) into Star Trek, it might make a fine piece of alternate history. Where could that have been produced in that era? Twilight Zone? Not everything has to be part of a franchise (or am I dreaming?)

Perhaps we IRL humans will be forced to abandon social media to AIs. Let them fill the platforms with their chatter to each other. We could...oh, I don't know... write letters to each other 🖋️
