Dog loving knitter ( no I don’t knit with my dogs hair) living in south west of England
So a quick explanation and saying they do look lovely in the house this time of year. Not sure where the lecture was, But hey ho I won’t darken your doorstep again with a lecture. Have a lovely evening.

You should really leave them until next spring. The dry flowers from this summer protect the flower buds forming for next spring from frost. Mine will stay like this until next March/April. But the drying flowers do look lovely in the house at this time of year.

It’s not a gender neutral word never has been. From an old French word specifically referring to women. Modern sensitivities may find it jarring but it is now archaic and I assume when it was used it was put on tomb stones of much loved family members by their family so why be offended.

Who bears the cost when those on low incomes are subsidised by in work benefits? I work in a supermarket, one which actually pays just above minimum wage, it also still manages to increase its profits year on year.

Don’t we have anti terrorism laws that ban people from coming to the UK. Musk certainly falls into category 3.

Beautiful dog. I have one of those too. He’s mastered the soulful look into the middle distance.

One of my favourite photos I took is this from July 2012 at Llechwedd. One of those days in north Wales when the cloud sits on top of the mountains all day. I love the contrast of the green against the grey sky and slate.

Took these two photos of the patten store in 2012

I love it there. You walk in the workshops and it’s like everyone has just put their tools down and gone for a tea break. The wheel pattens fascinate me.

His majesty Boo Boo Bear. Sometimes mistaken for a teddy bear as he spends hours on the sofa without moving.

Thought theses were my daughter’s cats for a second. But they don’t have such posh beds. This is the last time they stayed at grandmas. Look of total disgust is bcs I have 2 dogs they have to share the house with when they stay with me. Side note - they actually used to live with dogs at my house.

As they got older, completely inseparable. But Mr Dougal did like to remind dear Saffron who was in charge from time to time. Cats are excellent dog trainers.

We’ve got an Annabelle Beatrice Sanderson in our council ward in Wiltshire for the Tories . On her bio it tells us her, I kid you not, her favourite biscuit. Out canvassing on Saturday we were in the garden I said no thank you I’m a member of the Labour Party so they left quite quickly.

Sadiq Khan is often accused of this banning dog nonsense, which is most bizarre as he does have a dog.

Reading this I do wonder if the person that wrote it has actually ever watched Threads. The attack on Sheffield - it was a depiction of the effects of a nuclear war.

Moved house 6 weeks ago and we and all the neighbours front gardens have a lovely patch of primroses. Lovely seeing them in the sunshine every morning at the moment.
