Someone needs to remind him that land doesn't vote, that the margin of victory was the smallest in 50 years, and their party did not even get 50%, so there is no mandate since more than 50% did not vote for them.

Whatever a border czar is, they don't have arrest authority. Federal law enforcement officers do, pending judicial enforcement. Consultation with prosecutors is the norm for pre-planned arrests & here's the kicker: people being arrested must have actually committed a crime.
