"Trump has spent the last five months vowing that the Ukraine-Russia war would never have happened if he was president, vowing that the Israel-Gaza war would never have happened if he was president. And yet the reality is that not only has he not avoided war, but he’s plunged us into a new one."
Trump plunges the US into a new war
In fewer than six months in office, the self-proclaimed anti-war president has engrossed the US into a new war in the Middle East

There is no “one and done” in any conflict.

The opponent always gets a vote, and unless we’ve prepped for all the things Iran may do we’re gonna have some surprises.

For all who are mentioning the fact that Trump did not go to Congress for authorization of this strike, rest assured that he already had the blessing of the Speaker of the House. This is a key issue we are facing in the US: Congress has capitulated. We have no checks on the Executive. #usstrikesiran

Buying it now!
This is written by the bishop who stood up to Orange Voldemort. Everyone should be buying this. It's available on Amazon for $14. I'm an atheist and I'm buying it. #booksky

The goal is to overwhelm us so we give up. Don't do that!

The start of many things to come - seems like ignorance is bliss for his supporters? Meanwhile, prices will rise and they will wonder why…

All great questions that I’ve been thinking about a lot in the last several days @brianstelter.bsky.social. What agreements/understandings already are in place, or are soon to come? They are all too friendly with him for comfort, at this juncture.
After Big Tech CEOs were front and center at Trump's inauguration, some Q's: What do they want from Trump? What does he want from them? Trump just signed an "anti-censorship" order, but in the future could he pressure tech companies to quelch dissent of his administration? TBD

This right here. Thank you Diane.
People keep asking why I choose to fight when I could just take the easier road, enjoy life while relaxing, let someone else do the work. This. This right here is why.

Agreed. Time to fight back! 🥊🥊
"Behind the scenes there does need to be rethinking of the Democratic agenda. But for now Democrats need to oppose. They should read up on the Lincoln of the 1850s not the 1860s; on the Churchill of the 1930s not the 1940s; on the Havel of the 1980s not the 1990s."

Dems Don’t Have to Inspire, They Have to Oppose
A party out of power doesn’t have to be in splendid array. It has to be pugnacious.

The news of Cecile Richards’ passing was unfortunately overshadowed by other events of the day. Let us pause to recognize this incredible leader, advocate & all around force to be reckoned with. She was indeed her mother’s daughter. I admired them both so much. Her fight for #womensrights continues.
The passing of Cecile Richards is a great loss for so many of us. She was an incredible advocate for women, health care, & our fundamental freedoms. She was a joy to partner with and be around, and I cherish the time I got to spend with her, learn from her, & be inspired by her spirit and strength.
