For an administration that continually dismisses and derides the humanities, setting themselves up as the judges of that work isn’t just sad. It’s infuriating! Not to mention that this is also an almost word for word move out of the authoritarian playbook (see Germany c. 1930s for example).

This is a pretty big attack on the First Amendment. And an encroachment on universities' powers to decide what protests to allow and who to expel.....
